But for now, this type of TOEFL is no longer organized, because it has been approved to be less valid in its implementation, both with the material and the scores obtained. On the TOEFL CBT there are several English language skills tested, which are expected to be Listening, reading and writing. This type of TOEFL exam lasts for 2 - 2.5 hours. About the range of scores on the CBT TOEFL is different from the PBT TOEFL, which is 0 - 300.

• Internet Based Test or IBT. (Well, if you can only use this one to apply for work and / or study abroad.) Consisting of a TOEFL test based on the Internet or in other words during the exam process, the internet becomes a means of organizing it. Besides that, this type of test also uses computers as media. However, in this type of test there is an internet connection that is different from the TOEFL CBT. Like other types of TOEFL, in the TOEFL, the IBT also contains several skills that are tested, such as those related to: Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing. TOEFL IBT lasts 4 hours with a score range of 0 - 120.
